Word of mouth is the oldest means of spreading information. Your friends and family are the first set of people you can practice sharing the news about White Nose Syndrome. Share information from the Facebook website or the White Nose Syndrome Twitter.

What better way to help  bats than to provide housing for them? You can find detailed instructions on building a house that will attract native bats to your area here.

Cut back on spelunking expeditions. Scientists aren't sure exactly how White Nose Syndrome is spread, so right now better safe than sorry. Be sure to watch your family pets. Make sure they don't explore caves on their own. They could carry fungal spores in their fur! If you think you've been in a White Nose environment, wash as soon as you can. That includes your clothes.

Also, don't mishandle stray bats. Never handle a bat without gloves.

Stop the Spread of White Nose Syndrome. Protect those bats that aren't infected!
